My biggest thanks, is to you, My Bear.
No matter the challenge, we work as a pair.
We take in our stride the cards we are dealt,
We face it together in sickness and health.

This was by far our biggest test,
Thrown in to uncertainty and unrest,
But with you as my champion, I was sure,
That whatever was hurled at us, we could endure.

We knew that this road was going to be bumpy,
And let’s be honest, you can be quite grumpy.
But you’re kind, hardworking, honest and true,
You’re also quite funny, that’s what I love about you.

Thank you for being there every step of the way.
For holding my hand when there was nothing to say.
For doing the pink jobs that I couldn’t do.
I could never have done this without you.

The NHS – This Incredible Institution

To all the doctors, nurses, technicians, carers, admin staff, volunteers and everyone within.

These wonderful people work harder than you will ever realise. They do their jobs without complaint, working longer hours than contracted, to make sure that patients receive the proper care.

So, to all of you out there that feel that they have a right to criticise and complain – be warned. Don’t ever let me hear you mumble and groan. I WILL verbally shoot you down.

If you’ve had to wait 2 hours for your appointment. WAIT PATIENTLY. They are dealing with someone who is in greater need than you. Be thankful that it is not you who is the emergency.

They are doing their best with the limited resources they have. Be grateful that we have an NHS at all.
